PAK STAY — PRIVACY POLICY Last updated: on publication. 1. WHO WE ARE Pak Stay is a Pakistan-based rent-service platform connecting Clients and Hosts. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. 2. DATA WE COLLECT - Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed), and role. - Identity data: CNIC and, for Hosts, ownership-verification documents where required. - Booking & payment data: stays, dates, amounts, and payment status (card/PSP details are handled by the payment provider). - Usage data: device, log and interaction data. - Communications: messages sent through the Platform (contact details may be masked to other users). 3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA - To provide and secure the service, process bookings, and verify identity (incl. CNIC/NADRA-style checks where applicable). - To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms. - To send transactional emails (bookings, agreements, OTPs, notifications). Marketing emails are sent only where permitted and you can opt out. 4. SHARING WITH AUTHORITIES We may share your data and records with government agencies, law-enforcement, NADRA, FIA or other competent authorities where required by law, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, or a lawful request. 5. SHARING WITH OTHER USERS Limited data is shared between matched Clients and Hosts to enable a stay (e.g. name; and, after a rental agreement is signed, the property address and contact number). 6. PAYMENT PROVIDERS Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. JazzCash, Easypaisa, card processors). We do not store full card details. 7. DATA RETENTION & SECURITY We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and apply reasonable safeguards. No method is 100% secure. 8. YOUR RIGHTS You may access or update your account data, and request deletion subject to legal retention requirements, by contacting support. 9.
