PAK STAY — TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. ABOUT PAK STAY
Pak Stay ("Platform", "we", "us") is a Pakistan-based rent-service technology platform that connects guests/tenants ("Clients") with property owners/renters ("Hosts"). Pak Stay is NOT the owner, landlord, or agent of any property and is not a party to the rental relationship beyond facilitating the introduction, booking and its service commission.
2. ACCOUNTS & ELIGIBILITY
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under the laws of Pakistan.
2.2 You agree to provide true, current and complete information, including a valid CNIC where required, and to keep it updated.
2.3 You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
3. BOOKINGS, PAYMENTS & FEES
3.1 All bookings and payments must be completed through the Platform. Paying or transacting off-platform is prohibited and at your own risk.
3.2 Prices are shown in PKR and may include a service fee and applicable taxes. Security deposits, where applicable, are handled per the listing and any rental agreement.
3.3 Commission: Pak Stay charges Hosts a service commission as disclosed in their dashboard.
4. RENTAL AGREEMENTS (TRUST SHIELD)
4.1 Longer / monthly stays require a digital rental agreement signed by the Client, the Host and a witness for each, as presented on the Platform. The property address and host contact unlock only after both principals sign.
4.2 Witnesses must not be blood relations of the nominating party.
5. CONDUCT & LAWFUL USE
5.1 Properties must be used only for lawful purposes. Illegal, immoral, hazardous or prohibited activity is strictly forbidden.
5.2 You will comply with all applicable laws of Pakistan and the relevant provincial/local authorities, including any mandatory tenant registration with the local police / SHO and foreigner registration where applicable.
5.3 No subletting without the Host's written consent.
6. LIABILITY (IMPORTANT)
6.1 Pak Stay is a facilitator only and is NOT responsible or liable for any loss, theft, damage, injury, death, dispute, breach, or any unlawful or illegal activity occurring at or in connection with a property. Such responsibility rests solely between the Host and the Client.
6.2 The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. DATA & AUTHORITIES
We may collect, retain, and share your data and records with government agencies, law-enforcement, NADRA, FIA or other competent authorities where required by law (including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016). See our Privacy Policy.
8. CONTENT & OFF-PLATFORM CONTACT
To protect all parties and our commission-based model, contact details (phone numbers, emails) shared in listings or chat may be masked. Circumventing the Platform to transact off-platform may result in suspension.
9. SUSPENSION & TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the law, or the rights of others.
10. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Courts at the Host's city of the property shall have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any binding arbitration the parties agree to.
11. CHANGES
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
